These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rākete mobile application, web services, and API platforms (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using Rākete, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
To use Rākete, you must create an account with accurate and truthful information. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Tournament Play & Sportsmanship
Rākete provides tools to coordinate pickleball tournaments, score matches, and publish standings. All players agree to uphold sportsmanship, accurately report match scores, and adhere to official USA Pickleball (or relevant tournament host) rules of play.
4. Team Naming & User Content
Users may submit custom team names and profile information. You agree not to submit team names or content that is profane, obscene, harassing, defamatory, or infringes upon third-party trademarks. Rākete reserves the right to reject, sanitize, or reassign offending team names at its sole discretion.
5. Tournament Organizers & Venues
Tournament organizers are responsible for configuring venue court details, entry requirements, tournament schedules, and overseeing on-site physical facilities. Rākete provides software infrastructure but does not operate physical venues.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. RĀKETE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL RĀKETE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR PHYSICAL PARTICIPATION IN ANY PICKLEBALL EVENT.
7. Account Termination & Deletion
You may delete your account at any time within the application settings. Rākete reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or disrupt tournament operations.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws without regard to conflict of law principles.
